The Sam (Bud) H. Werner Military Museum opened in Spring of 2017 to showcase Mr. Werner's extensive collection of military vehicles and other artifacts. “Bud” Werner, whose family’s history goes back to the early days of the timber industry in this area, had been collecting military artifacts for over 50 years. His collection encompasses items from World War I to the present.
The museum is open April 15th through November on Fridays & Saturdays, from 9:30am to 3:30pm. From December 1st through April 15th the museum is open for tours upon request; call Mark Stewart at 931-607-9200 or Parker Lowndes at 931-308-7854 to make arrangements.
