The Stone Door Campground offers twelve backcountry campsites with a maximum occupancy of six per campsite and three backcountry group campsites with varying maximum occupancies. The occupancy of Group Campsite A is 30; Group Campsite B is 45; Group Campsite C is 60.

This backcountry campground can be accessed from the Savage Gulf North trailhead. All campsites are located a few hundred yards from the parking area. Potable water is available from a spigot in the campground.
